A skilled Partnership Tax Associate or Tax Accountant is sought for the in-house Tax team of this leading international law firm.
The firm has offices in both the UK, Europe and further afield with recent acquisition activity in other parts of the globe. In addition there are a number of associates and partner companies with overseas operations which form part of the Partnership team.
You will play a key role in undertaking diverse compliance, planning and advisory work for the partners and partnership, and resolving queries relating to the Partner's personal tax, some corporate tax (but this experience not a pre-requisite) and company finances.
The role will include but is not limited to:
* Personal and partnership tax compliance, including tax payments and reserves.
* Corporate Tax compliance for partner companies within the partnership;
* Undertaking ad-hoc project work including tax planning and advisory work for the Partners and Partnership;
* Liaising with external tax advisors for the firm and the HMRC.
You will ideally be ACA and/or CTA qualified (or wishing to study for the CTA for which full support (financial and study leave will be given) or have an equivalent level of knowledge and experience. Exposure of Partnership tax is helpful but not essential.
You may also be in a classic UK oriented private client role but looking for a rare in-house opportunity.
Salary is wide given experience is flexible. You could be anywhere between Supervisor and Assistant Manager level and salary as such could fall between £37,000 - £57,000.
