| Description: | This leading independent practice in North London is currently recruiting exclusively with Morgan McKinley for a Mixed Tax Semi-Senior/Senior. The firm are very well known in the local area and attract a large amount of work through referrals and word of mouth. With an established tax team, they can offer an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to progress or maybe work closer to home or take the next step in their career.
Working closely with the Partners, you will have responsibility for a portfolio of clients. Acting as the first point of contact for many of your clients, you will gain exposure to approximately 150-170 Personal tax cases varying in complexity between HNWI, company directors, self-employed individuals and Partnerships.
In addition to the above, your time will be split managing a Corporate Tax portfolio. You will be responsible for monitoring the position of a portfolio of companies, managing their accounts and tax affairs as well as preparing Corporation Tax computations. Companies will include SMEs, property investors, manufacturing and retail companies extending to large and very profitable groups.
Ideally you will be ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified (part qualified or equivalent) with a proven background in a professional practice tax role. You must have brilliant interpersonal and communication skills and be able to demonstrate an excellent level of written and oral client relationship management.
