Our National Compliance Group based in London plays a key role in supporting Deloitte’s International Assignment Services Group providing UK tax compliance support to an impressive list of clients ranging from High Net Worth Individuals to large Multi-National Companies. Due to new business development, Deloitte has requirements for an experienced Manager to work within and supervise this dedicated specialist team.
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing part of the tax return process, communicating with engagement teams, managing a small team and have the opportunity to truly develop your tax technical skills. As a Manager within our Expatriate team you will play an integral part in streamlining the tax return process and liaising between engagement teams and internal stakeholders.

As an expatriate tax specialist, you will:
* Manage the preparation of tax returns, review work and providing coaching to less experienced colleagues
* Manage the timing of tax return process, team through-put and sign out tax returns
* Be involved in technical analysis of remuneration plans and expatriate tax positions, in liaison with engagement manager
* Co - Manage a small team
* Manage communication and relationship with internal stakeholders, addressing any concerns and ensuring the compliance process runs smoothly
* Promote use of technology tools improving the management of expatriate data and annual compliance process
To be considered you should ideally posses:
* ATT qualified and ideally CTA qualified or equivalent qualifications or experience.
* Experience of preparing and reviewing UK tax returns and use of compliance software.
* Compliance centre experience is preferable, but not essential.
* Experience of managing teams and project-managing client compliance engagements.
* Strong inter-personal and organisational skills, able to work with a variety of different people and be skilled in developing relationships internally and with existing clients.
