Central London based Mid-Tier firm with a large Tax Department, requires a Tax Technical Officer to join its Private Client and Employer Consulting Groups. This is an attractive role for a candidate who wishes to manage his/her own projects and become a specialist in a chosen field.
Reporting into the Tax Partner and working closely with the Head of Tax, the principal responsibilities are as follows;
- Ensuring an up to date knowledge in respect of tax law and practice in an allocated specialist area
- Communicating clearly and concisely in writing to a variety of audiences
- Undertaking outstanding technical research and providing the providing the appropriate person with this information
- Dealing with technical issues which affect the firms businesses and clients
The successful candidate will have a suitable technical qualification and have exceptional communication skills. In order to attract a high standard of candidates, this firm is willing to pay up to 45k. The Tax Partner has expressed a preference for newly qualified candidates, however, candidates with suitable and demonstrable experience will be considered.
