Major legal firm has a newly created position working in its in-house tax team, looking after the tax affairs of the Firm and its partners. Taking responsibility for compliance for the Americas and certain Western European regions key parts of the role are as follows: directly influencing the tax impact for the Firm and partners and finance mangers within these locations and ensuring that tax payments for the partners and the Firm and Double-Tax Relief claims of the Firm are made.
Specific duties include: compliance management; reviewing the Firm’s transfer pricing policy; calculations of double tax relief; preparation of tax computations and the management of non UK tax payments; preparation of monthly reports for group Treasury and maintenance of relationships with third party advisors.
Ideal candidates will have extensive partnership tax exposure almost certainly experience gained in one of the major legal or accountancy practices, a private bank or a specialist private client firm.
