Working closely with the tax director, this is a role that offers you strong exposure within the business as a whole, as you will play a significant role in managing high-level relationships.
This superb role is a rare opportunity that will suit a candidate with experience working as part of a European commercial tax function.In this role, at this successful modern brand, you will be managing the overall compliance process across the group (the work itself is outsourced) in addition to getting involved in some interesting planning work such as acquisitions, reorganisations and financing structures for diverse range of tax.
The main focus is corporate tax and VAT although an understanding of international tax, employee tax and expatriate tax are of value. You will also be expected to provide ad hoc advice to the business on all issues that may have a tax implication. It is anticipated that there will be some travel associated with this role, and you should be culturally confident conversing with the business throughout Europe.
