Due to increase in business activity, a contract role has arisen to provide and coordinate taxation services and advice to the UK and other associated entities so as to help ensure maximisation of post tax profits and timely compliance with tax requirements of the territories to which its various entities may be subjected.
This role has a view to going permanent or at your discretion, just being an interim assignment for 3-6 months.
Job description:
Provide advice to the business so as to ensure tax efficient decisions are made.
Ensure all tax implications are fully evaluated and where appropriate detailed in all significant bid review documentation.
Utilise the specialist advisors and coordinate the provision of other tax services so as to best assist the business. Coordinate and supervise the use by any part of the business of all other tax service providers.
Coordinate the completion of necessary UK Corporation tax schedules so as to maximise post tax profits and ensure their timely review by our tax service provider. Coordinate all queries thereon.
Ensure the entities meet their tax obligations in overseas territories whilst maximising post tax profits.
Calculate and or review the tax estimates in the P&L and balance sheet of plans, budgets and forecasts to ensure their reasonableness.
Ensure tax entries to entities nominal ledgers are processed in an accurate and timely fashion.
Coordinate tax advice provision and liaison with H.M.R.C.
Liaise and work with the Group Head of Tax and other natco tax specialists so as to develop ideas and improve processes with a view to maximising group post tax profits.
