This division of FTSE 100 listed plc has an interim opportunity for experienced international tax director or head of tax. The role has an element of flexibility to be part based at either Midlands or Bristol office and/or part of week based from home. This global business offers innovative engineering solutions to a worldwide customer base.
The Role
You will be accountable for establishing and maintaining a tax strategy for the Group that is consistent with the parent group Tax Strategy, maximises shareholder value, mitigates tax risks and complies with global tax laws and regulations.
Supporting the group on tax compliance and reporting, management of effective tax rates, tax liabilities and cash flow, management of tax risks, and identification/implementation of planning opportunities.
You will co-ordinate with parent group tax function, global finance managers, Legal, Treasury, Business/Corporate Development, Human Resources, other business functions and external advisors as appropriate to understand and advise on/respond to business tax issues and implement solutions where appropriate.
About you
You will have a extensive experience in accountancy practice and industry, exceptional technical tax knowledge, accounting including IFRS, analytical and research skills in direct and indirect tax. Ideally you will be ACA and CTA qualified. Big 4 experience preferred complimented with senior leaderships posts within FTSE 100 corporations.We request applications to be submitted in a word format only.
