A rare in-house VAT opportunity for a commercial indirect tax professional who is looking for a industry role with a difference. Working closely with the senior management team, this is a high profile role where the successful applicant will take full responsibility for driving the indirect tax strategy.
Key areas of responsibility will include; providing a full business advisory service, working closely with the FD to implement an indirect tax strategy, managing relationships with external advisors and HMRC, identifying VAT mitigation opportunities, and working closely with the business to ensure that it is fully compliant.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need a broad base of Indirect Tax exposure either within the profession or out in commerce. Critically, you will need a very commercial outlook and be able to see the issues behind the numbers.
