looking forward into 2012, one of our top Birmingham clients is looking to grow their indirect tax team, and have created a new role; Indirect tax manager.
Candidates for this role should have direct experience of VAT gained from Customs or a leading VAT consultancy team, as the role will involve leading a small team of more junior consultants; developing and managing them both from a technical and commercial perspective. Other important areas will be the capability to advise on complicated technical issues, analysing problems and identifying core issues, combined with the management of large client projects.
Therefore the successful applicant will need to gives clear directions, positive and constructive feedback and understand the importance of communication to non-tax people internal and external to the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work in Indirect Tax and be part of a successful and growing team.
Candiadtes should be either be CTA qualified or equivalent or have experience in Indirect Tax.
