An upbeat attitude and "can do" approach are key attributes in the tax team of this large fund management and investment advisory company. The head of tax is keen to devolve responsibility and works hard to ensure the team undertake high quality work whilst developing their careers. Due to reorganisation there is a need for a contractor to undertake a compliance an effective tax compliance and planning function, overseeing the tax affairs of the UK entities. Additionally there is responsibility for advising on the tax implications of new fund structures and entities parts of the group. Initially this is a high profile planning and reporting role that involves extensive liaison with in house teams, 3rd party advisors and HMRC. Requires a ACA or CTA, with good tax accounting skills and ideally with some FS exposure. If you prove you have the right experience and mind set there is a good chance you will become a permanent fixture.
