This is a rare opportunity to lead the tax advice and build a team that will be involved in some of the most high profile acquisitions and investments occurring in the world for a number of years to come. The key elements of the role will be:
. Anlaysing acquisition and investment targets both prior to and during acquisitions in order to tie the commercial objectives to tax effective structuring and delivery. This includes relevant SPVs, the structure of real estate funds, incorporating tax advice from local advisers, monitoring change of law and meeting filing obligations. There is an ongoing opportunity to build a team in support of these goals.
You will be a commercially astute tax specialist with the ability to analyse major transactions and advise accordingly. You could currently be in one of a number of roles:
. a leading transactions tax expert in-house with real estate or funds or acquisitions experience;
. a tax principal/Director or partner in a Big 4 firm with relevant tax experience
. a front office tax expert with relevant technical expertise and real estate experience
