A fantastic opportunity for a tax trained lawyer to work for a global US Investment Bank in Hong Kong. My client is expanding its current global tax team to include an office in Hong Kong and is looking for an experienced tax lawyer to establish the office with one other person also moving from London. You will be part of a global tax team and will have support from members in UK, the US and elsewhere as well as the corporate tax team in Hong Kong.
The position will be the lead liaison in Asia and will be responsible for:
- Providing tax technical support for the lines of businesses and clients
- Partnering with Corporate Tax, Product, Legal and Sales/New Business teams to develop new tax products.
- Assisting the business areas in managing tax risk.
- Creating marketing and training publications for tax products.
