This leading financial institution seeks a Head of Tax to lead the EMEA region. This role is responsible for all aspects of the European Group's corporate taxes ranging from all the compliance related work to strategic initiatives.
Principal responsibilities will include:
- Creating a highly efficient compliance function for the European business;
- Raising the profile of taxation, in partnership with the wider Finance function and the Frant Office;
- Carrying out a variety of tax planning work, both structural and transactional;
- Building and maintining strong working relationships with Revenue Authorities and third party advisors.
You will be tax and/or accounting qualified with previous experience within the Financial Services environment. A strong communicator, with good influencing skills, you will thrive in this autonomous role. You will be self-motivated with the ability to show initiative and to lead others.
