The prestigious role of Group VAT Manager has recently become available at the world's leading international mobile telecommunications group. This Group operate across 5 continents, in more than 25 different countries, and is still expanding.
The role will involve getting to grips with the existing products and services of the group to identify VAT costs or consequences and influence these towards efficiency. You will also be charged with exploring favourable legislative interpretations and implement VAT efficient structures in order to create and add further value to the group. As the Group VAT Manager, you will provide invaluable advice impacting the Group's business decisions through managing different projects including budgeting and fees management.
The role itself will include managing relationships with the various parts of the group and also a diverse and dedicated team, therefore your communicative abilities will be second to none. Reporting to your seniors, other parts of the group and external advisers it is important that you are confident and able to convey complicated ideas and practices to those not as informed as yourself. Performing project manager duties it will be your responsibility to pick and manage the teams, ensuring the best possible output.
As it is an international role, you will be experienced in International VAT and constantly striving to have up-to-date knowledge on the subject, tracking legislative changes and understanding their implications.
