This leading FTSE 250 company has an exciting opportunity for a Group Tax Manager to join the department on an interim basis. Based in the Head Office and reporting directly to the Head of Tax, you will undertake the following:
-Manage a team of tax professionals
-Oversee the complete tax compliance cycle
-Management of overseas structure and Group transfer pricing
-Provision of tax advice on ad hoc projects, incorporating impact on Group structure
-Oversee and manage tax aspects of group acquisitions and disposals (domestic and international) particularly with regards to required due diligence work and impact on Group structure.
-Delivery of training concerning tax matters to the Group and its business units.
Suitable candidates will be professionally qualified with substantial corporate tax experience, the ability to deal with a large group of companies and previous international compliance and advisory experience. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to drive strategic change effectively and methodically.
The role is to cover maternity and will be for a 6-12 month period.
