FTSE 250 services, maintenance and building group who have a worldwide workforce of 50,000 and has revenue of £1.7 billion. Situated in a pleasant business park on the outskirts of the rural town of Twyford near Reading, this job will be an integral member of the corporate tax team of three. Reporting to the Head of Tax and Treasury, the role will embrace a breadth of responsibilities including VAT (planning, advise, reporting), employment tax (PAYE, CIS, NI etc) and corporate tax (compliance, planning, overseas tax). The position will require close liaison with group finance, external advisors and government agencies.
This job would suit an individual looking for a broad and diverse tax role within a UK plc. The client is keen to meet with candidates who are qualified (or have equivalent experience) have strong UK technical tax knowledge, has a hands on approach to work; solving problems and giving advice and can operate within a Group environment with credibility.
