A leading financial services group based in the city that comprises of commercial banks, trust and security companies is currently looking to hire a number 2 to it`s organisation to support the head of tax across all tax issues.
This is a newly created role that will require a strong character and a driven personality that wants to take a challenging step in his or her career. For this role you will be required to have come from securities (ideally) background and having a strong, and deep technical back ground within corporate tax is a must.
In this role you will be responsible for the management of the corporate tax compliance cycle, oversight of all reporting and accounting obligations, management of the VAT process, work with the HOT and provide UK tax advice on M&A activity, support planning initiatives and review & improve Transfer pricing documentation.
You will ideally have the ACA and/or CTA qualification, be trained within the profession, have a broad skill and be motivated to progress within your career.
