This Oxfordshire based international company is listed on the FTSE250. Currently employing close to 2000 people in over 14 countries it has created a new Group Risk & Tax Manager position.
Working in the head office, you will manage the Group's internal audit process and risk management programme. Furthermore, you will receive development if needed to manage the Group's tax operations to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
About the role:
Prepare the tax calculation and disclosures for half and full year financial statements
Monitor the tax cash flow and updating the forecast monthly
Ensure the UK VAT returns are filed on a timely basis and in an accurate manner
Prepare annual corporation tax returns for UK companies
Supervise tax advisers in respect of the preparation of tax returns for the US Group
Act as a first point of contact for all business tax queries and involving tax advisers where necessary.
Supervise and develop the internal and external internal audit programme
Develop and oversee the production of quarterly risk returns from business units.
About you:
You will be a qualified accountant or tax advisor with audit experience
Tax experience preferred but not essential
Ideally suited to someone working in practice looking for their first step in-house
Open to applicants who already have commercial experience
