This global financial services group with minimal exposure to the Global Credit Crunch is now looking for a (Senior) Tax Manager to work in this technical products tax team that looks at optimizing the Group's ETR through various tax planning strategies.
The role is a high profile role with significant contact with local board members and FD's in providing tax input on due diligence of potential acquisitions and providing the tax lead in post acquisition restructuring.
When not working on Group M&A projects, you will be reviewing the Group structure and looking at ways to optimize the tax efficiency through Group restructuring, Group Treasury products and implementing intra-Group tax structured products to minimize the Group's effective tax rate.
You will need to have experience providing international tax advice including advising on tax implications of M&A to large multinational Groups (ideally in financial services) with significant exposure to UK tax legislation. This role would ideally suit a Tax Manager / Senior Manager from the M&A or International Tax Teams of a Big 4 Firm in London.
