Our client is a global retail and commercial bank that has a group tax function based in London. Within the group there is in excess of 30 companies and the compliance and advisory issues are dealt with within the group function. They now require a tax contractor who has a solid corporate tax background who can also deal with transactions on an ad hoc basis. The role would be to cover for maternity leave and they envisage the contract being at least 6 months. The role can to some extent be flexible and dependent on the incumbent.
