This financial services group that gains significant revenues from the structured finance desk is looking to grow the Font-Office Tax Support Team within Group Tax.
This will be the number 2 position in a team of 6 that support the securities business of the investment bank. You will be key in liaising with the authorities to make sure that there are favourable relations between the Group and HMRC. You will work closely with the front office groups, understanding the complex trades and providing support on the tax implications of the trade to the Group. You will also have sign-off responsibilities of new products.
You will need to be technically very strong on complex tax structured products and be the equivalent level of an experienced Senior Manager or Director within Big 4. This could also suit somebody working in a Tax Structured Finance Group looking to move away from Front Office into a Group Tax Risk and Control role.
