As an assistant manager in the Fiscal Valuation Group, you will be involved in advising on the valuation of unquoted shares and business assets, for tax purposes. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of clients and industries, both national and international. The role involves providing support to the manager, senior manager and director team in the following areas:
- The analysis of financial information;
- Research into appropriate valuation methodologies;
- Client liaison and information gathering;
- Data analysis;
- Drafting valuation submissions to and corresponding with HMRC;
- Researching clients and targets to identify new client opportunities;
- Managing client billing.
You should be CTA qualified however share valuation experience is not a prerequisite, although desirable. You must however have practical experience of dealing with UK employment tax issues and be willing to learn and deal with new technical areas.
