Having a thorough understanding of expatriate taxation issues, ideally gained within an accountancy firm in a client facing environment, it is likely that you are now looking to make your first move into an in-house role.
Responsible for managing the team, you will also have:
- Day-to-day responsibility for the UK tax and social security work of the international assignments teams’ provision of UK tax and social security advice to individuals and group responsibility for UK tax reporting for compensation, benefits and share schemes
- Ensure the team manages all in and out bound assignments to and from the UK, administratively (to include policy and cost management) and from a tax, immigration and social security point of view
- Be the first point of contact for external consultancy and management of relationship in respect of expatriate population, including checking billing managing the relationship with the relocation company
Ideally, you will already have gained experience preferably working with financial services clients and have proven project management/delivery experience.
