Duties:
To help expand the financial services team in London and help take the team forward by:
•managing the in-house tax team, providing advisory and compliance services for the firms 70 regulated and unregulated investment funds
•providing tax advisory and compliance services to the firms FSA regulated businesses, including fund and product structuring
•helping to market the Financial Services Group and winning new business
•The substantial client base spans the investment management, broker and dealer, corporate finance and insurance sectors. Financial Services is a growing part of Smith & Williamson's tax and business services practice and currently acts for over 90 regulated businesses
Experience / Qualifications:
•Qualified Charted Accountant ACA; Tax qualified practitioner CTA; technically able to support
•Experience of managing people; approachable
•Experience of complex client work; mainly creative tax planning work; marketing skills
•Administration and management of staff
•Tax computer literate
