One of the world's leading insurance brokers and risk advisors seeks a VAT Accountant.
You will have accounting experience alongside being highly proficient in VAT matters. Working in the heart of London the role will see you report to the UK VAT manager and ultimately EMEA Head of Tax. The role will principally involve a compliance with some advisory duties alongside. This will entail preparation of VAT returns, reconciling of the various VAT accounts, considering disclosures, assessments and payments on account and similar matters.
The successful person will have a proven accounting background and but crucially will have sound knowledge of UK VAT including partial exemption and the Capital Goods Scheme. Alongside this you will be motivated, a good organiser and a hands on approach. This is an excellent opportunity to further your experience of VAT in an illustrious company in an excellent location.
