The role will be client facing from day one and you will typically be expected to start building relationships with client HR and finance teams from a very early stage. You will be dealing with HR, finance managers and tax directors as well as senior executives and employees.
You will need to be able to work closely with the client to help them identify factors to consider in any scenario, to be able to think on the spot and bring solutions to their problems. You will need to have a strong breadth of technical knowledge and an ability to put this into practical answers.
Requirements for the role include:
? Professional Accounting / Tax qualification with UK expatriate tax (and preferably US) experience
? Strong communication skills with proven client relationship skills
? Proactive, delivery focused, team player
? Good technical knowledge with ability to practically apply this

Responsibilities
Although your role will predominantly be focused around one client in the International Mobility arena the work is tremendously varied. At one level you will be liaising on a daily basis with senior tax, HR and finance leaders at the client, assisting them with their internationally mobile staff. This work may include advising on an individual employee's assignment but it will also involve providing the client with strategic advice, for example developing their company policy for dealing with internationally mobile staff or helping them put in place a global employee incentive program which is tax efficient in all the countries in which the company operates.
You will also be liaising on a daily basis with assignees at the client and the global firm?s network, managing them with all aspects of their assignment.
You need excellent client handling, communication and organisational skills. Our clients expect a seamless global service. You will need to work closely with other colleagues from around the globe. This means that you will need to acquire skills in managing people from different cultures and backgrounds. You will also be managing a team in the UK to service the account and liaise with other UK colleagues who also service the team but in different specialisms.
You will also be responsible for managing a variety of smaller clients. Again, the work is varied and is bespoke depending on the client needs. You will have the opportunity to grow the scope of assistance we provide to these clients, with the full support of other team members.
