This multinational bank seeks an expatriate tax specialist to join their Compensation & Benefits team. This person will be responsible for issues across the EMEA tax region, whilst working closely with the International Tax Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary contact for all expat related queries as well as managing the local compliance relationship with the external advisers;
- Providing advisory support to ensure that all income and benefits are correctly reported for US and UK tax puropses;
- Acting as the primary contact for HR and Specialist teams, including, but not limited to tax efficient delivery of compensation, potential issues from transfers and secondments, employee tax issues as required and roll out of new benefits;
- Influencing the design, delivery and quality of commercial solutions across the EMEA region.
You will have strong expatriate tax knowledge as well as a working knowledge of non-UK tax issues (especially US and European tax issues). with excellent analytical skills, you will have the ability to effectively review advice and to make appropriate recommendations. You will be a strong team player with the ability to prioritise workload.
