The role will involve direct responsibility for timely compliance in respect of all taxes with regard to the UK Group of companies and certain European entities.
Responsibilities:
Compliance in respect of all taxes (eg corporation tax, VAT, capital gains taxes, stamp duty, insurance premium tax, wage tax (including PAYE)). The European Tax Manager has a responsibility to liaise with the local FDs to ensure compliance with both statutory and US filing and reporting requirements. Provide support to the Finance and Business teams on technical matters and liaison with the US Corporate Tax team on non-standard technical issues. Ensure all taxes are properly reflected in the US and local GAAP financial statements for all operations. Liaison with Internal and External Advisors.
Working directly with the Head of Tax, you will be given every opportunity to fully utilise your skills in this high level corporate compliance role. In addition, this role will involve supervising two junior members.
