Central London based Mid tier firm with a highly successful Corporate Tax team, requires a Senior Manager to manage its client facing functions. This Corporate Tax department provides bespoke taxation services to its clients and deals with a range of queries, from basic compliance through to high-level advisory work. This firm prides itself on being large enough to have a range of specialist expertise whilst being able to provide a bespoke personal service at the same time. Therefore, this role is ideal for a candidate who wishes to become a subject matter expert whilst still maintaining a personal client facing role.
Assisting the Partners, and tasked with managing all aspects of the team's compliance function for clients, the key responsibilities are as follows;
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Participating in the recruitment of new staff
- Developing areas of specialism as agreed with the partners
- Preparing and presenting external/internal presentations
- Preparing technical material such as factsheets and articles
- Assisting in marketing initiatives
- Maintaining an awareness of UK Taxation developments and other relevant taxation and accountancy developments
You should be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent, that said, the tax partner has stipulated that it would be beneficial to be CTA qualified or equivalent. Relevant experience in an entrepreneurial Corporate Tax team is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to become a subject matter expert whilst maintaining a more personal touch with clients.
