Our client, an international information technology services company, are looking for an employee tax assistant to join them on a contract basis in central London to help with the tax issues involved with their 6800 UK employees. You will be reporting directly to the UK Employee Tax Manager, the role mainly involves providing assistance on the employee tax compliance obligations of the company.
Role Profile:
•Completion of forms P46 (Car) on a quarterly basis
•Completion of P11D forms including updating P11D software with employee details on a monthly basis
•Answering basic P11D queries and sending copies of forms to employees
•Analysis of employee expenses for the purposes of the 24 month rule on a monthly basis
•Responding to basic queries on expense claims made and their taxability
•Other ad hoc advice and tasks related to employee tax matters
Essential skills:
•Knowledge of Employee tax/Benefits in kind/PAYE
•Working knowledge of forms P46 (Car) and P11D
•ATT qualification or qualified by experience
•Ability to analyse expense claims and identify taxable expenses
•Strong working knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Excel
•Ability to work on projects unsupervised
•Ability to commit to role for 6 months
