A newly created role reporting to the Senior VAT Manager working as part of a small tax team for this large professional services firm. You will assist with the provision of advice to the UK business and training on VAT liabilities. You will also assist the UK VAT Accountant with the returns process and general management of the compliance process. Experience of more global VAT issues will be an advantage as you will also work on the global compliance process and provide input to global projects. You will also play a key part in a large project to implement a new ERP system.
You will need a track record in working in VAT, ideally in an in-house role, with experience of place of supply of services issues, ERP systems and a general commercial awareness.
