Position: Corporate US Tax Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing global company based in Austin, TX that operates in over 150 countries. They are in the process of growing and implementing a world class tax department. This person will have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting phase of this company’s growth.
This person will work with the Tax Director to manage the US Domestic tax for the company including income tax accounting and compliance. This person will also have a leadership role in developing and training the domestic tax team.
Some responsibilities will include:
• Review the quarterly and annual domestic tax provision under ASC 740 (FAS 109).
• Assist in preparation and review documentations for footnote disclosures for 10-K/10-Q reporting.
• Review the calculations of quarterly federal and state estimated corporate income taxes and annual extensions.
• Prepare/Review audit responses to tax authorities.
• Review consolidated federal income tax returns and related work paper and statements for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting is required. CPA certification is preferred.
• 5-10 years large corporate tax experience or “big four” public accounting firm.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
