The corporate tax team currently comprises 20 lawyers, a senior PSL and 2 trainees. The group is heavily involved in structuring and advisory as well as transactional work.

Our client is looking to recruit the cream of the crop, and will reward successful applicants accordingly. Ideal candidates will have several years’ good quality corporate and finance tax experience in a similar environment or Magic Circle firm. Candidates with a reasonable degree of experience in property tax would be of interest, but given the breadth of the practice, those with limited experience of tax related to real estate will not be at a disadvantage.
Candidates should be enterprising with an ability to devise practical solutions to resolve technical issues within transactions timetables. Self confidence and an outgoing personality will be important attributes. It should be noted that candidates with UK legal experience will only be considered.
These roles represent fantastic opportunities to get involved in high profile transactions in a wide variety of business sectors. Successful candidates will work mainly in transactions involving other parts of the firm but the group often takes the lead role on transaction management. There will also be significant scope for the successful candidate to develop their own particular tax practice interests.
