Our client is currently seeking someone at a fairly high level who will provide support to the tax partners on corporate tax projects. Everyone within the corporate tax department deals with a mix of compliance and consultancy work and you will also be responsible for a portfolio of allocated clients.
This role has arisen due to the fact that the firm requires a technically strong individual to provide support to the partners in respect of consultancy work. You will not be taking over an existing portfolio, but are likely to accumulate probably a relatively small portfolio over time.
You should be able to assist in providing technical solutions to client problems and researching tax planning ideas. You will therefore deal mainly with consultancy work, with a small amount of compliance work.
As this role is at a relatively senior level our client would expect you to have at least 4 to 5 plus years post qualification experience, although those qualified by experience will also be considered. You would ideally be ACA and CTA qualified though.
Technical knowledge and expertise is essential as are good management and business development skills.
