Managing the corporation tax issues of a business can be complex particularly when trying to juggle strategy, compliance, planning and risk. The corporate tax team in Manchester help clients make the right decisions at the right time and ensure that taxation issues do not end up running their business.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain consulting tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service,
• Win work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients,
• Manage the successful delivery of consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken ,
• Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for our client and clients from the tax consulting services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately.
Person:
Ideally with a mixed Corporate Tax background
Professional qualifications - ACA (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification)/ACCA (with good exam record); or Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course; or Law qualification
CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
At least 5 years’ (post qualification) relevant/appropriate tax experience
Strong technical skills; a deep and wide knowledge of corporate tax, experience of the international dimension and of structuring tax planning opportunities for corporate clients; awareness of technical issues beyond specialism.
