This Big 4 Firm's Funds group sits within Financial Services Tax and consists of a team of well established tax specialists led by 5 partners who work exclusively with fund clients be it hedge funds, private equity funds, securities funds or their managers. The team is drawn from the profession, industry and HMRC and prides itself in providing advice that is pragmatic and relevant as well technically excellent.
The role
- advising on tax structuring, regulatory and residency issues for a wide range of fund vehicles
- dealing with reporting requirements, complex consultancy assignments and strategic tax planning.
- advise UK and international clients on transactional, M&A and personal tax issues.
The candidate
- UK tax experience gained from an in house role within a financial institution or from an accountancy/legal/advisory firm;
- An ACA or CTA qualification;
- Previous investment management and funds experience either with corporate, fund or personal tax aspects desirable.
- The desire and motivation to advance your career in financial services;
- The ability to manage a portfolio of clients and projects as well as the desire to manage and help develop junior staff;
- The ability to work closely with clients developing strong relationships and applying practical and commercial concepts to technical work
