Our client is a leading independent accountancy firm. This expanding practice has an exciting opportunity for a corporate tax manager to be part of the next stage of growth for the firm in a position that is seen as a key role in the business. Working to a tax director you will help manage the compliance and tax reporting for the practice as well as assisting with advisory work such as R&D claims, offshore structuring work, group tax planning etc. Your role will be to help do and manage the tax work to free up the tax director to go out and undertake business development. You will also be actively involved in recruiting, training and managing more junior staff.
It is likely that you will have a professional qualification (ACA, CTA or equivalent) and that you will be excited by the idea of working with OMB and SME clients and helping them to grow and shape their businesses.
This role would suit an experienced assistant tax manager who is looking for a step up to manager or an existing junior manager. You may currently be at an independent firm or be working in a large accountancy practice and looking for a more personal professional environment where you can progress your career and gain more autonomy and client responsibility.
