| Description: | This Big 4 giant have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the Large Corporate and International tax team in Manchester.
In this role you will enjoy advising a broad range of clients, consisting mainly of large UK-based, multinational and inbound companies in a wide range of industry sectors. The focus of the work will be advisory, across a wide range of issues which will expose you to international tax, structuring and transactional tax issues to name but a few. You will be mainly working directly with managers/senior managers but also with tax directors and partners, providing tax advice to your portfolio of clients - from complex tax planning to compliance related matters. You can look forward to high quality challenging work and you will benefit greatly from the focused client team environment by getting highly involved on projects from a very early stage. Responsibilities include:
.Run a challenging and varied client portfolio, working to deadlines.
.Run and supervise project work delegated to junior staff and its delivery to the client
.Build and develop client relationships
.Increase financial management of a client portfolio
.Develop self and others through coaching.
.Working directly with the manager/senior managers and potentially enjoying having some clients where you report directly to a Partner or Director.
Requirements:
Either ACA (or equivalent) or CTA qualified, with a minimum of two years of corporate tax experience. Corporate Tax advisory experience (gained in practice or in industry) including experience of advising a wide range of clients on related tax issues.
