Job Description
As the Controller, he or she will be responsible for:
Maintaining General Ledger system for the organization
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements and management reporting
Analyzing business trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to assess liquidity position and requirements
Working with outside audit and tax advisors to fulfill reporting/filing requirements
Assisting CFO in preparing annual budget
Preparation of loan covenant compliance reporting
Overseeing payroll activities and managing outside payroll vendor arrangement
Overseeing financial reporting of subsidiaries to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Required Skills
8+ years corporate accounting/consolidations experience out of financial services, with time spent in both public and private accounting
Degree in Accounting
CPA
Familiar with Corporate Accounting, Consolidations, and Management Company Accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP, General Ledger, Budgeting/Forecasting/Planning
Desired Skills
Asset Management experience
