The professional who fills this role will be responsible for international tax accounting, reporting, and compliance functions, as well as the analytical review of the US shareholder tax of an assigned number of entities.

Responsibilities include:
Managing the tax reporting from GAAP through STAT (where applicable) to US tax return
Ensuring compliance with SOX
Preparing/reviewing/analyzing US Federal income tax returns for assigned entities
Preparing/reviewing/analyzing US estimated tax and extension payments for assigned entities
Analyzing transactions and federal audit exposures with the legal staff
Conducting earnings & profits studies and maintaining up-to-date pools
Required Skills
7+ years of experience working within the insurance industry, and/or International Tax experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master’s degree in taxation, or equivalent experience
Financial modeling skills
Advanced understanding of tax accounting rules (ASC 740) and concepts
High degree of proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software applications
