The role
Tax litigation responsibilities, including assisting in:
- preparation of statement of agreed facts
- reviewing witness statements
- preparation of skeleton arguments
- preparation of statement of case
- preparation of documents
- input on litigation strategy
About you
Experience and skills to include but not limited to:
- understanding film industry financing
- understanding case law relating to legal professional privilege
- experience in settlement negotiations with HMRC
- understanding leading tax cases relating to statutory film reliefs
- understanding judicial review
- experience in undertaking detailed review of documents provided to HMRC
- experience in undertaking tax research
- preparation of detailed tax calculations in excel
- preparation of correspondence with HMRC
- preparation of updates for clients & consultancy/consent agreements
- advanced user in Microsoft Outlook & Adobe Acrobat Pro
