Our client a professional services company is currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Expatriate Tax Advisor to join their London based office.
The ideal candidate will provide technical support to more senior members of staff with the longer-term aim of developing into a Tax Professional. The successful candidate will ensure that a high quality, consistent service is provided to the clients and the successful candidate will develop a deep knowledge and understanding of their clients to ensure stability and continuity is maintained.
The client responsibilities will include being a quick leaner and able and willing to carry out a range of client and technical work also you will have a degree of flexibility to meet client / department needs and deadlines along with being commercially aware with a general interest in business and finance.
The people responsibilities will include being a team player with the ability to integrate with new teams quickly and pay attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy. You will be outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output. Expat Tax experience is going to be essential for this role and you will need good numerical skills as well. The ideal candidate will be calm and methodical and will be able to sustain opinion and handle challenges along with excellent communication skills in written, listening and questioning. Study support may be available towards the ATT or CTA as applicable and you will need good negotiation skills and be able to sustain opinion and handle challenges. You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and you will be a self starter who is willing to be accountable for their decisions and output. You will also be computer literate along with A – levels or equivalent – 2 (preferably grade C or above) and GCSE’s – 6 (grade C or above, including Maths and English Language).
