The Assignment Services team of this Big 4 firm provides expatriate management solutions and consultancy advice to clients in a wide range of industry sectors all around the work. The London office works with a client base that is diverse in terms of the size of their expatriate populations, locations and the scope of services required. Specialising in the outsourced delivery of the international assignment programs to clients, the team is skilled in policy design, implementation and delivery; expatriate compensation and benefits planning; payroll; coordination of relocation services both in-house and in conjunction with external vendors. The Role
The role of Consultant involves the provision of a wide range of international compensation and relocation services, including:
*Calculating and reviewing allowances, deductions and benefits in accordance with each client's pre-determined policy
*Preparing and reviewing cost estimates and balance sheets
*Preparing and reviewing assignment letters and contracts
*Preparing and reviewing payroll calculations and instructions
*Supervising relocation services coordination such as shipping, home search, etc
*Co-ordinating tax, immigration and social security services
*Complying with agreed KPI's
*Orientation briefings
*Delivering policy-based advice to the corporate client and assignee
*Billing
About You
*Demonstrable experience in international HR administration is preferred

*An understanding of expatriate compensation and benefits planning, payroll and pension issues, and the ability to explain/justify the methodology behind calculations and their application
*An understanding of relocation issues and the services provided for under client policy
*The ability to identify potential tax and social security issues in the development and application of assignment policy and the review of standard assignment documentation
*An ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal technical advice
*An understanding of the corporate issues involved in international assignments
