Chris Bale, CEO. Chris has worked within the tax community throughout his career. He left St Paul’s School at 17, having won a scholarship from Arthur Andersen & Co, and spent a year in the corporate tax department of the London office. After graduating from Durham University he returned to Andersen but realised quite soon that he was not destined to be a tax advisor. In 1995 he joined Brewer Morris where he spent 8 years working for public practice, in-house and international clients. He was made a partner at 29 and left two years later to set up several businesses of his own.

Chris also manages TotallyTax, a global tax sites directory, writes a movers and shakers blog called TaxGrotto and has developed 5 other job boards focusing on Wealth Management Jobs, Health & Safety Jobs, Asbestos Jobs, Audit Jobs and Occupational Health Jobs. In January 2010 he launched a price comparison site for heating oil, called WhichOilSupplier. In September 2012 he created an online document management system for the asbestos industry called AsbestosVault.

Martino Matijevic, CIO.A Marketing Management graduate and a former Marketing Consultant for the City of Nice in France, Martino subsequently trained as a Web Developer with the European Commission in Brussels. He has worked for high-profile companies such as Kelloggs, Sainsbury’s, Halifax Insurance, Alfred McAlpine, Schwarzkopf, JD Williams, William Hill, LateRooms, Orange and Voila.

In his mid thirties and living in the South of France, Martino runs an internet marketing consultancy, Dorifor Internet Consultants, specialising in combining strategic marketing with the technical know-how of website design and development. In addition to being responsible for developing eTaxJobs, Dorifor also developed TaxationWeb, the UK’s leading independent tax website, WhichBudget, one of the World’s largest budget airlines directories and TheTravelMagazine, an online version of the glossy print travel magazine.
