Latest Tax Jobs
eTaxJobs is a global job portal exclusively for tax professionals. We are not a recruitment consultancy, but an online resource for employers and recruitment firms to advertise their vacancies. We already operate across several markets, including the UK, USA, Canada, Africa, New Zealand and Australia. We intend to expand further within Europe with multi-lingual sites, but if you feel that there is a country we should be operating in now, please let us know.
We are an owner-managed business and each of the directors is personally involved in the day-to-day running of the site. eTaxJobs is run and managed by Chris Bale, a tax recruitment specialist, Martino Matijevic, an internet marketing consultant and Mark McLaughlin, CTA (Fellow) ATT TEP, a tax adviser, lecturer and a writer.
Having already set up TaxationWeb, the UK's leading tax community and information website, the founders have extensive experience in e-commerce marketing within the taxation market. Martino, our IT and Marketing Director, is a specialist in search engine technology and is therefore ideally placed to maximise web traffic to our sites. He has grown TaxationWeb from a small site publishing technical articles into the UK's largest independent tax website.
We sincerely want your experience on this job portal to be as rewarding as possible and with this in mind we encourage you to participate actively in the site and give us feedback on how we are doing. If you have ideas about how to improve the service or layout then please get in touch.
Finally, we want to explain to employers and recruiters about our pricing policy for advertising on the site. This has been set very low and will remain at this level because we want to provide value for money to our clients. Whilst we naturally need to recover our administration costs we have not embarked on this venture to make pots of money. We therefore hope that you will support us and quickly make the site the first place to visit for tax jobs in every country with a developed tax legislation.
The eTaxJobs team
Chris Bale has worked within the tax community throughout his career. At 17 he won a scholarship from Arthur Andersen & Co and spent a year in the corporate tax department of the London office before going up to Durham University. On graduation he returned to Andersen but realised quite soon that he was not destined to be a tax advisor. In 1995 he joined a leading UK tax recruitment firm where he spent 8 years working for public practice, in-house and international clients. He was made a partner at 29 and left two years later to set up his own practice. Chris also manages TotallyTax, a global tax sites directory and writes a tax blog called TaxGrotto.
Martino Matijevic is the Webmaster and Internet Marketing Consultant for eTaxJobs. A Marketing Management graduate and a former Marketing Consultant for the City of Nice in France, Martino brings a considerable marketing experience. Having subsequently trained as Web Developer with the European Commission in Brussels, he worked for high-profile companies such as Kelloggs, Sainsbury's, Halifax Insurance, Alfred McAlpine, Schwarzkopf, JD Williams, William Hill, LateRooms, Orange and Voila.
In his early 30-ies and living in the South of France, Martino runs an internet marketing consultancy, Dorifor Internet Consultants, specialising in combining strategic marketing with the technical know-how of website design and development. In addition to being responsible for developing eTaxJobs, Dorifor also developed TaxationWeb, the UK's leading independent tax website, WhichBudget, one of the World's largest budget airlines directories and TheTravelMagazine, an online version of the glossy print travel magazine.
